Safe Zone & Office of Inclusive Excellence

The Office of Inclusive Excellence (OIE) aims to create a welcoming and supportive campus for all students, faculty, and staff. They offer various programs to achieve this goal, including diversity training, initiatives to attract and keep talented employees, and supporting research that fosters an inclusive climate. One key OIE program is Safe Zone, which provides training to become an LGBTQ+ ally. This helps create a safe space for conversations about sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression, building a supportive community for everyone on campus.

Office of Civil Rights Compliance

The Mississippi State University Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC) works to ensure a fair and welcoming environment for everyone on campus, free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
