MSU Safe Line
If you’ve experienced sexual assault, even if you’re not in immediate danger, call the MSU Safe Line. It’s available 24/7, and you’ll speak confidentially to a trained counselor who can help you find support including medical care, counseling, and a Sexual Assault Advocate (SAA). You don’t have to file a formal report with the university unless you choose to, but the Safe Line can provide information on reporting if you’d like.

Safe Walk
Safe Walk, a 24/7 service provided by the MSUPD, ensures the safe escort of individuals to their vehicles, buildings, or other destinations on campus. Simply call or text (662) 325-2121 and an escort will promptly be dispatched to accompany students to their desired location. These escorts, identifiable by their reflective vests and equipped with two-way radios, offer an additional layer of security. During nighttime hours, patrol members use golf carts to patrol the campus, acting as extra eyes and ears for on-duty officers. Operating hours vary but typically start after dark and extend into the early morning.
